Citta dei Nicliani - Mani
Peloponnese

Citta dei Nicliani is housed in a listed, 18th-century tower-house in Kitta, Eastern Mani. A unique setting that combines authenticity and proximity: this is Citta dei Nicliani. One of the most beautiful locations in Mani Peninsula, facing directly onto Olive tree plantings, where Mount Taygetus ends in the sea. A strategic location at the heart of Mani Peninsula, just two hour?s drive from Kalamata and its airport.

A characteristic example of local architecture, it is home to atmospheric rooms with free Wi-Fi and 32-inch flat-screen TVs. Boasting character, the Citta Dei Nicliani rooms feature engravings on stone walls and the old marble sink. The luxurious beddings by Guy Laroche and Korres bathroom amenities ensure comfort.

In the room or in the patio, guests can enjoy an enriched breakfast which includes fresh bread, homemade jams, the famous lalaggia of Mani, as well as cheese, eggs, olives, and cakes. Drinks, homemade liqueurs and various snacks can also be enjoyed during the day.

Area activities include horse riding, hiking and walking. Mani has more than 20 hiking trails, with paths leading to Byzantine and ancient monuments and lovely beaches.

Citta dei Nicliani is only 200 metres from the village centre. Areopoli is 22 km away, while Pyrgos Dirou is a 10-km drive away. Free private car parking is available on site.

The region of Mani is ideal for hiking in its beautiful paths and canyons.
